List of Importance:
- The Auschwitz Birkenau and The Belzec Concentration Camps, are two of the many Concentration Camps we have talked about in class, and they were both very big Concentration Camps.
- France and Belgium were two of the many countries involved in The Holocaust, and they both are neighbors of Germany.
- Austria and Serbia were the start of it all. An Austrian Arch Duke was shot by a Serbian soldier, and that started alliances which lead to two world wars.
- Wannsee, Germany is where the Wannsee Conference was held to discuss the "Final Solution" of The Holocaust.
- Munich, Germany is where Hitler and other powerful leaders tried to seize power of Munich in November of 1923.
- Landsberg, Germany is where Hitler was put in jail after he tried to seize power of Munich.
- Bremerhaven, Germany is where one of the biggest German trade ports is located. Why is that important? Its important because in the Treaty of Versailles, Germany lost their exportation ports, which means that they can't ship their industrial goods to other countries.
